Background

Loopline C60 is the first release in the C60 series for the music label Antenn Tapes, the label offshoot of Antennen.

The C60 project started when I was approached by Antenn Tapes label boss Viktor to release music on cassette tape. After agreeing to do it, I struggled with coming up with a direction for the music. While listening back to unfinished projects on several SoundCloud accounts, I decided to dedicate this cassette to my rejected ideas, unfinished sketches and field recordings which have since lost their context.

I was tasked to create the artwork for the cassette series as well, and decided to approach the design by creating a design system which will allow me, Antenn Tapes or other artists to create their own variation on the artwork by using the system in a shared Figma file.

Loopline C60 will be able to purchase in a limited edition in late 2023 through Antenn Tapes.
